Hot Jewelry Box

I would not purchase from this shop again. I bought two initial diamond bracelets that had chain that was gold plated over sterling silver, (they call it 'vermeil'). My daughter was not wearing the bracelet daily, yet within a few wears, the finish began to deteriorate. Sadly, it had passed the 30 day return window so we were stuck with it. In a short time, it lost all its gold luster and looks terrible. It probably only had 1 micron plating, but the assistants were not knowledgeable about the items and could not confirm the plating thickness.

I always encourage my kids to support small businesses in town, so my daughter and her friend were excited to check out Hot Jewelry Box. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. My daughter and her friend were made to feel extremely uncomfortable - being closely followed around the store, repeatedly asked if they needed help, and even questioned about the bracelets my daughters was wearing, as if she might have stolen them. Seriously? I went back to the store to speak with the manager, but no one seemed interested in having a real conversation. When I asked the employee who had followed the girls why she was doing so, she admitted it was because they looked "suspicious." That’s not just unprofessional but it’s unacceptable. It’s disheartening to support a small business only to have your kids profiled and treated this way. I hope they take a hard look at how they treat their customers, especially young ones who are trying to shop independently and respectfully.

i went there on monday, they had a 20% off sale. i was really excited to see a place filled with a lot of what looked like nice quality jewlery. i bought 5 pieces of jewelry. the necklace tarnished immediately and the bracelet broke while i was wearing it. even with the sale it came out to 105.63 which is ridiculous considering it didn’t even last a week. the rings are the only thing that haven’t tarnished yet, really disappointing.

Gina is simply the best! Everytime I need to style a dress she always comes through with great recommendations! Her store has an incredible variety of all kinds of jewelry! A necklace and earrings I wore three years ago are still in the same condition! For everything from weddings to proms to every day date night outfits - this is the place for you!

Overly priced ( almost 3 times) and not worth the quality. They dont do refund but only exchange which means when you get something else in return you end up paying more. The look and feel of the store definitely attracts you to go in but once you are in there’s no way coming out not buying anything. Not worth the money you spend there.

Poorly made. Purchased a ring to celebrate the new year with a friend, the stone fell off by Jan 10, when I contacted the store to ask if they could replace, they said no. I asked about exchange and received no reply. Very disappointing
