My family has been going to Byron the Jeweler for well over a decade. My mom first told me about him, and I’ve since spent thousands of dollars there myself. We’ve always liked supporting a small, family run business, and his daughter has consistently been kind and helpful. Unfortunately, our recent experience was really disappointing. My mom tried to order a bracelet for my oneyear old, but she was never told there would be a $40 shipping fee. The first bracelet arrived damaged, and the replacement wasn’t the quality she expected, so she decided not to buy it. Byron became upset and started yelling at her, which left her shocked and hurt, especially after being such a loyal customer for so many years. A few months later, I went back to see if things had smoothed over, but Byron stood by his reaction and never offered any apology. After so many years of loyalty, it’s sad to feel so dismissed. We’ve always made an effort to support local businesses, but after this experience, we won’t be returning.

I visited this shop and needed a new chain and some modifications for my pendant with my late kittie's ashes. They figured out how to turn it into exactly what i wanted and the price was extremely reasonable. They absolutely made my day and i highly recommend this business. Great service and gorgeous jewelery options.

I have brought many pieces of jewelry to get fixed and am very happy with the results. I also bought a gorgeous ring there and it was priced reasonably. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this business.

Byron is a genius and can repair anything. He Is a professional & will tell you straight if something isn't worth repairing. His friendly wife is a good addition to his shop. The only allow 2 customers at a time into their space, just to be safe, and everyone is masked. I love to browse (and buy) his estate and vintage jewelry. He has all kinds of treasures in his shop. I buy gift for my daughters in law, my daughter, friends, & for myself. He has old silver rings from $30 going up y thousands. Something for everyone. Cecily will tell you which is the better quality piece if you're uncertain. Men, this is the place to buy a holiday gift for the woman in your life. Prices are fair. PLEASE PLEASE I hope they stay open in Santa Rosa.

Byron has done three custom rings for me over the last three years: one engagement ring and two wedding rings, and my wife and I are beyond happy with the work he did for us. We selected vintage settings and stones for my wife's two rings, and my wedding ring was an entirely custom setting, which he built to my specifications. I am so happy we chose to work with Byron, as he is extremely knowledgable and actually takes the time to explain a number of interesting metallurgical and chemical factors relevant to the work if you're willing to listen. My wife and I learned a great deal from Byron and came away from our experience with three beautiful rings, each one unique, all priced extremely reasonably for labor and materials. Byron is a great guy and I can't reccomend his work enough.

I had to let go of some jewelry and silver of my late mother's. They were wonderful , very informative and helpful . Byron gave me a fair price for what I needed to sell. Very thankful for both Byron and Cecily!!

I love this store. Byron and Cecily are wonderful! We created our wedding ring here, and I couldn’t be happier. The other stores are "stuffy". These are down to earth folks that take pride in their business. Highly recommend them for anything special.
