You can truly feel the refined taste and careful curation behind every item. A special pleasure is meeting the owner. He is deeply knowledgeable about the history of jewelry, has an exceptional eye for design, and treats every piece with great respect. It’s not just a store, it’s a journey through time. I highly recommend it. A true gem for anyone who appreciates beauty with meaning.

John is knowledgeable in his craft, a great business man, and an amazing person. We go to him for everything - vintage, custom jewelry, watches, etc. He is the best there is and we can’t recommend him enough! Everything in the attached photos is from him 🙂

I got the 1.4-1.5 total carrot weight diamond earrings and I swear they are larger than the 1 carrot diamond engagement ring my daughter has. It was shipped in a beautiful box and I've loved wearing the earrings whenever possible. I had to shake my head because my daughters fiancee went to a chain store for the ring and for what he paid, he would have gotten something just as nice or better for the same price. I honestly think my earrings have a better sparkle than her ring. Here is a picture of the earrings with a vintage necklace I already own. It's 1/10 of a carrot and not lab grown.

I am a massive Mureta & Co fan. I’ve learned so much from them about buying jewelry, stones, and just the craft of fine Jewelry. I own several pieces from Mureta (10 ctw Riviera tennis necklace, 2 cttw studs, ascher wedding band) and I love every single item. The quality is incredible and they are such lovely people to work with. Jack is one of the most generous people I’ve ever met. When I finally made it into the store from LA, he gave me a handful of small emerald stones for a ring I had that was missing a few. He just gave them to me! Unlike most jewelry stores, they encourage you to spend time, try things on, and play with the jewels, which I love. It’s a small family-run business with so much heart, and I wish them all the success. While their lab diamond jewelry is very popular, their estate and vintage jewelry selection is equally amazing. Such a fun, unique store. I can’t wait to add more Mureta pieces to my collection! 🤎✨

I recently bought a tennis bracelet from Mureta and Co., and I’m absolutely in love with it! I purchased it during a live show and received some free upgrades. I can’t wait to buy my next piece from them.

My friend and I visited in October and it was one of the best jewelry store experiences we’ve ever had. Not only was the owner kind in letting us try on pieces and chatting to us but his store is so charming and lovely. I also ordered two $100 mystery boxes for Valentine’s Day and it’s one of the most fun gifts my partner and I have done in a while. Anytime I’m in SF I’ll be paying Mureta & Co a visit even just for a look around.

I got a pair of 1.5 CT earrings during a sale. The earrings shipped fast in beautiful packaging, and the price was unbelievable. I was able to get my mom such a beautiful gift for Mother’s Day. Mureta & Co provides such a value to their customers. I will definitely be buying from them again in the future!
