This man and his wife are amazing and respectful .this is the only place i come to or trust when it comes yo jewelry been coming her for over 13 years and im glad i went here instead of next door i never feel ripped off i always feel ive won and i always get the screw back for barely any additional charge . I can upgrade exchange and some more he is such a great honest man and his wife and employees. word of advice google doesnt always tell the truth and people are usually upset and write bad reviews when it comes to money and them not being able to afford something.

My 5 stars is NOT for the store and its owners but for the few brave souls here who have given an honest review regarding the underlying derisiveness and negativity this place most certainly holds. It is an unfortunate fact of today that one "bad apple" can truly spoil the entire barrel. This store is in a very sketchy area so that negative vibe most assuredly contaminates all the stores and homes in the area. I feel that there are better stores in better areas that are more than a mere mom & pop outfit where you can go to someone else in the store, if you don't like their style of customer service and can rely on the professionalism, courtesy, and integrity and not it being one-sided or discriminatory. I had a great experience at Silver Lining in Gresham and JCR in Milwaukie. Best of Luck to All ... 💗🕊💖

They do not offer good prices if you are selling gold jewelry

I have been coming to this place for over 12 years with my wife and 5 kids i am African american as well and he always treats me fantastic and well and is always willing to make a deal i only had a little income left for this christmas and of course he made a great deal for my wife and teenage daughters present this year. This is the only place i trust with my money when it comes to buying gold . Him and his wife are great honest people . I remember when the attempted robbery happened i came down just to check on them .

Didn’t even LOOK at my ring closely, but glanced at ir for 5 seconds. The ring was appraised at $8500. Randy said, "I can’t helpyou. The appraiser is crazy". Why didn’t he just say he couldn’t afford to pay me a fair price? I knew I’d only get a small fraction of the assessed value, but to dismiss me like that…rude. The store is run down and in a sketchy area. If I’d known all this, I wouldn’t have wasted my time! Might research or reconsider if you are looking to sell jewelry of any real value.

I would have tried to sell my gold jewelry sooner, but did not have one clue how to go about it. I sorted through everything we had and I checked Google and Yelp to find great reviews about Randy, The Jewelry Buyer on Sandy Blvd. We decided to just go in today as sort of a fact-finding mission. It was easy to find and there was parking right in front. Randy is super friendly and completely forthcoming about how he evaluates things to buy. He tests it and makes two piles, one for gold and one for gold-filled. He returned the gold-filled to me and weighed the gold. It soon became clear that there is no need to check anywhere else, this is a great place! We left with way more $$$ than we expected. I'd give him more stars if I could.
