I was very disappointed with this place. I decided to visit because of its excellent reviews, but my experience was quite the opposite. I went to sell a gold necklace, and: 1. Their initial offer was $1,300 lower than what I had been offered elsewhere. I’ve never sold gold before, and I had only done research through Google and ChatGPT, but the gap in pricing was shocking. When I refused the first offer, they suddenly increased it by $1,200, which immediately made me lose trust. Even though it got closer to the price I expected, I still couldn’t rely on them. 2. They told me that I wouldn’t be able to sell my gold anywhere else, claiming that other stores aren’t trading due to bank fluctuations. I didn’t understand what they meant at the time, but as soon as I left, I realized it was nonsense. There are plenty of places buying gold. 3. I went to another store, where their initial offer was almost exactly what I expected, and I ended up selling for $200 more than that. This clearly shows how absurd the first offer was. 4. This experience makes me question whether Google reviews are reliable. This store had a 5.0 rating, and if I had trusted their initial offer, I could have lost $1,300. They themselves mentioned how good their reviews were during our conversation, which makes it even more ironic. If I ever sell gold again, I will not return to this place.
