Went to Cashville this week with a variety of jewelry pieces to ultimately sell. The owner was kind and professional. He went through each piece, inspected them, tested them, and ultimately offered me a fantastic and very fair price. I was grateful for his insights and his no-nonsense approach. He was honest and answered my questions without hesitation. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. The reviews that say he is senile, etc. are TRULY FALSE!!!!

If there were zero stars he would get it!!!!! The son is ok ... but the dad or the older man is horrendous!!!!!! He needs to retire!!!!! Has no clue!!!!!! Quoted me a good price for selling gold chain OVER THE PHONE, DROVE ALL THE WAY THERE ... then when I got there he was diddling around at the calculator had 1,0000 numbers on screen, kept repeating .. had NO CLUE!!!!!!! Totally did not know what he was doing!!!! He was just ''not there''. I asked why the lower price???? He said: "I made a mistake". Continued to diddle around on calculator while I waited 10 mins or more waiting!!!!!!!!! And waiting!!!!!!! Came back ... after testing the chain from a HUGE RETAILER ... STAMPED 18K .... YET HE SAID '''THIS IS 16K'' ... THERE IS NO SUCH THING!!!!!!! His calibrator said 16k He said!!!! YOU TEST IT WITH LIQUID, not calibrator!!!! ALL MY THINGS ARE PERFECT!!!! Genuine. HE HAD NO FLIPPING CLUE. HE NEEDS TO RETIRE. I DROVE ALL THAT WAY AND HE WAS SO RUDE!!!!!! SHOVED IT BACK AT ME. Said HERE!!!! GO!!!! HE COULD NOT EVEN GIVE ME AN ANSWER. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! I FOUND SOMEONE ELSE, Green hills mall!!!!! AMAZING. THEY GAVE ME AMAZING PRICE!!!!!! TRULY HORRID EXPERIENCE. HORRID PERSON!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! RETIRE!!!!!

The website said they close at 4. I showed up at 3:15 and had a sign on the door saying wont be back for 30 mins. I waited around till 3:40 and left. Drove all the way over there for nothing. 40 mins drive in Friday Nashville traffic. What a waste of time

I’ve been to see these guys a couple of times since moving to Nashville. They’ve been fair and patient when I had questions. The last time I brought my scrap by a pawn shop first, just bc they were closer. Their offer seemed low, so I went back to Cashville. I ended up getting 4 TIMES what I was offered at the pawn shop! Needless to say, next time I’m driving the few extra miles to Cashville. And if you were like me and dont have a local bank account yet, their bank is just a few building away so you’ll have your money in minutes.

We went to Cashville Gold because of the great reviews, but I guess those were from years ago. From the photos, I expected to sit at a table and see my items weighed out, and an itemized monetary offer for each based on karat and weight. That is standard procedure, after all. Instead, on entering the foyer there is a single glass window to slip items through. I can understand that that this may be necessary because of crime, however, we were not even permitted to see the scale. The scale was off to the side out of our view, and as the gentleman weighed the items, only he could see the weights, jotting down numbers in no recognizable order all over a post-it pad. We could not tell which item was weighed, what it weighed, his calculations, or what he was basing the calculations on. When we inquired, he appeared upset that we questioned his figures. Sadly, we took our items and left. I think he may simply be aging, and wish him the best, but of course cannot recommend the service.

I had a fantastic experience! The process was quick and easy, and the appraiser was incredibly friendly. This will definitely be my go-to place for selling my unwanted gold and silver.
