Capitol City Pawn & Jewelry

Bought a dewalt sawsall from them on ebay and got about 4 minutes of use before it burned up but had to bump it on the table to get it to work the first time. My DA didn't try it out when I got it but waited till I needed it witch was too late for ebay action. Judging by the Google reviews I'm not the only one they have screwd over.

Used to use this place for any of my pawn shop needs, but when my husband got his playstation 4 back at one point from them they gave him the completely wrong system! We had to bring it back the next day and thankfully they still had his, but how hard is it to read the serial numbers or the pawn ticket?

Pawned 3 items all on the same ticket. The guys that helped us were great, knowledgeable & friendly. When we went to pick up our items the 2 females were very snotty, short in tone & just plan rude! They couldn't even find our 3rd item. She said I pawned it in another ticket & tossed my receipt at me! It took 2 other people to find it! This used to be a great place. Because of those girls, we won't be going back!

Takes forever to get things out of pawn. Even if there are people available to help you, they walk off. Takes forever to get help if you want to buy something. Waste a whole lunch on something simple. Ace down the street is so much better!!

They are not so good any more. They literally low ball you with their items you've bought from them! This used to be my go to store, however I find that the one on Washburn is friendlier and more open to how to help or get you what you want verses sorry you bought this from us we don't want it back kind of deal.

$230.00 for a used iPad? I bought mine brand new for $300.00. $600.00 for a laptop? $25.00 for a DVD player? People go to pawn shops to save money! If I wanted to pay nearly new prices, I might as well buy brand new.

Amazingly friendly and know you by name when you're a regular. I've been through them for a year and they are amazing and friendly! Young people work as an employee and they know how to make you smile when you're having a bad day.
