Forman's Pawnshop & Expert Watch Repair

I purchased this microphone for around $400 listed as "perfect working condition." Unfortunately, it arrived with a serious issue: a constant hiss/rustling noise that makes it unusable. The problem appears to be related to the capsule or internal components. I contacted the seller multiple times to resolve the issue. Communication was minimal and unclear. I was repeatedly told to contact the manufacturer for warranty repair, but the microphone was sold without the original box and there is no visible serial number on the body. As confirmed by the manufacturer, without a serial number the unit cannot be processed under warranty. Even after explaining this, the seller maintained the same position and did not offer a solution. The item was not as described and the support was inadequate.

I bought a silver pendant from this store on eBay. I had an identical one that my husband had given me for my birthday years ago. I loved it so much and wore it almost every day. I was devastated when I lost it while visiting the Bronx Zoo about a year ago. I was thrilled when I found this same pendant on the Formans Pawn eBay post. I requested a lower price match and the seller was willing to work with me to reduce the price. The seller packaged the pendant caringly and shipped it out quickly. I read a couple of reviews of people complaining that they sold their items to this pawn shop for cheap, only to have the items resold for higher prices. The pawn shop is taking a risk on items that may not ever sell and they have every right to upmark merchandise to make a profit. Formans Pawn is fair with their pricing and I'm grateful they offer these used treasures!

I purchased a Kobe Bryant autograph card from Forman's last year, and I sent it off to PSA for authentication and grading. This is not a complaint. I have yet to receive the card from PSA telling me the autograph is fake.. Wait time for the card to come back is 3 months. So hopefully Forman's shop sells real autographs.. The KOBE AUTOGRAPH CAME BACK FROM PSA NOT AUTHENTIC... Contacted Forman's about the issue and have been getting the run around all day. DON'T BUY KOBE AUTOGRAPHS FROM THIS SHOP!

Very rude. If you're having a bad day keep that day to yourself don't be rude to your customers I will never ever recommend it or ever go here again. Your response has nothing to do with me. Proof of your professionalism. I didn't try to sell anything at least do your homework before you respond to somebody. Show some intelligence.

Ryan is very fair and a good guy all around. This will be my go to pawn shop in Philly forever.

this place is great. i ordered a package which was delivered to the wrong address and when someone turned up to the pawnshop with it they took it in and got in touch with me to return. forever grateful for this
