Very impressive! Excellent pawn shop! I was very surprised when I walked in as it’s ’not your typical pawn shop’. I spoke with the receptionist who was very friendly and helpful. I also talked to Chad the owner and was very impressed with him. He knew what he had, what he needed, etc. and was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Shop was very clean and super organized. I will definitely be going back. If you haven’t been you need to check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

I went to La Costa to have a ring sized. It was originally a size 9 and my finger was measured in the store as a 6. I was told that it would cost $35. When I returned to pick it up I was told there was no charge by the jeweler because there was no gold added. This was a very pleasant surprise. I found the staff to be very nice, patient and courteous. The place is clean and organized and their array of jewelry is actually very nice. I would shop there again!

On a whim, I decided to visit La Costa Pawn to look at their jewelry. Not only did I find nice things, I also found nice people. Todd and Elizabeth were very helpful and personable. They answered my (many!) questions and made me feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend this business!

Best pawn shop in the area! Large selection of gold jewelry and unique miscellaneous items. If you are looking for a gift for that one person who has everything definitely stop in here for a special treasure trove! Friendly and professional staff is the icing on the cake.

10/10!!!, I came in last week as my gold chains clasp spring had failed and broke, the owner was so lovely and genuine, along with Elizabeth, unlike the other Jewelers or shops I taken to it prior which quoted me outrageous prices, He explained that it didn’t need replacing fully and only the spring did, for such a great price and in just a few days, completed it, polished it, such a lovely feature they do everything in house and I’m very happy to say the least, recommend La Costa for the go to pawn shop in the Melbourne area 👌

I had the best experience at la costa pawn and jewelry. They have skills in the jewelry department. It was my 10year wedding anniversary and he put a larger diamond on my wife’s engagement ring and the diamond sits really clean on the ring. Our original diamond he turned into a beautiful necklace. They are very professional and treat everyone with the respect they deserve.

Highly recommended. Quick smooth process to remove links on my watch band, had no issues in having to do it multiple times so it would fit right. While in there noticed a small firearm section. Todd is very knowledgeable with the products in the store, all the firearms were in good condition (minus a little wear and tear but they are used so keep that in mind) great prices too! Might come back here for one sometime soon.
