I once bought a mucury dime from them and was treated like I was buying 10 oz. Of gold. Have been loyal since. This shop is how a pawn shop should be. No crazy fees, fair prices, you even get some bonus bucks when you retrieve a pawned item. If you want to sell or buy silver I would recommend 100%. Im not sure the guys name but you will be taken care of.

Before you choose a shop based on convenience and location make the drive to L. Oppelman in downtown Lynchburg you will be glad you did because it will be worth the drive. I am have missed this store for years. Stopped by L Oppleman on Main Street just to look but I have made several purchases some by cash some by layaway. The customer service is Excellent quality of product Perfect what are you looking for TV’s Game System Guitar, whatever you need I am sure they can supply. Stop by just say hi look around. Whenever we come to town, we always go in to see what they have! My husband loves the selection of musical instruments and tools and I love checking out the DVDs and Blu-rays. I decided to purchase a Blu-Ray at a great price and they gave me an even better deal on it! The video games were also a great price!

I was shopping around and my wife asked if we should check this pawn shop out. I am glad we made the trip. I talked to a guy named Don. Super nice guy. Was treated like a friend and he let me try out the guitar. I was not pressured in anyway about buying it. My wife talked to Don about the guitar with case and what kind of deal he could give us. I thought it was a great deal, bought the guitar and cannot put it down. There is alot of nice guitars hanging up in their shop. I am totally satisfied with the guitar and I know I will be back again. Thanks to their staff. See Don if your looking for music equipment, he will do ya right!

Absolutely FANTASTIC service! Both Jessie and Meghann were incredibly helpful in our search for a new console, gave us a great deal! They were actively cleaning and improving the store, showing a great amount of care for their merchandise. Movies were organized excellently and the store was very clean. Never been to a pawn shop with employees who were as willing to help as here! Greatly recommend stopping by, very eclectic selection. Next time we stop in Lynchburg we will definitely be coming back!

I have done business twice with Jesse, I believe is his name and I will say that each time he was always honest, friendly and very knowledgeable. Whether you're buying, selling or pawning, I 100% recommend doing business with him. They also have a little bit of everything from guns, collectibles, video games/consoles, musical instruments, you name it. L. Oppleman is definitely a hidden gem in the heart of Downtown Lynchburg.
