Store is clean, gentleman behind the counter was nice, I found a game with a pricetag (from tbpawn, not some other gamestop sticker or something) of $3, all other copies of this game in the store had no tag on them. When I went to buy the game, he went to pricecharting.com and raised the asking price to $13. If you cant bother to update your prices or tag your inventory, Im not going to bother giving tbpawn business. *Edit* m&m had it for $7 and gamestop had it for $5. If gamestop of all places has a better price, you're doing something wrong. Pricecharting is NOT the end all be all for the video game industry. Its just a history of what SOMEONE at somepoint was willing to pay for it. A pawn store with no guarentee of testing, checking functionallity, etc should be selling it for less because of those standards not being met. Additionally, the math they claimed to be doing on the price is wrong. Just so future customers know "20% over price charting amd rounding down" is what was told to me to justify a 233% mark up of their OWN sticker price.

Purchased a Nintendo 3ds from Myers and was pleasantly surprised how easy the process was. He was patient while I tested and confirmed operation of the device and threw in a charger that originally was not included. I noted that he did carry a TON of older consoles and games while I was there. 10/10

While I understand the frustration we need to be sensitive to the fact that they are going through a major negative life event. Hopefully none of you ever have to experience this and need patience and understanding from others. We wish Morton a full and complete recovery. Look forward to seeing you guys in the shop soon.

On a business trip to Tampa. Visited many pawn shops. Wandered into the shop and was blown away by what happened next. The shop is now under new management. They have a lot of video games! Some are even sealed. We are talking about original Nintendo cartridges, N64 cartridges, Playstation 1, 2, and 3 games. Consoles, etc. Boxes and boxes of them. The new manager is hard at work reconfiguring the store to accommodate all the inventory in the coming days / weeks. According to the new manager, there are even more offsite. If you are local in Tampa, you are so lucky. Bring cash!
