Cash America Pawn

I'm not sure about the other locations, but this one has great customer service and an understanding staff! I reluctantly pawned my PS5 Pro in November to get a little money while looking for a job. My thinking was that I would get a job with enough time to get it out, but it took a little longer than expected. I wanted my console back really badly, and called the shop 2 weeks ago to ask about the likelihood of getting it out upon getting my first check on 02/06. Ms. Shannon took note of my request (despite the machine being in pawn longer than 60 days)....also keep in mind I hadn't put any money on the item to keep it from being sold at this point. On 02/05 (today), I called the shop to see whether the console was still there, and it was! Ms. Chandra pulled it off the sales floor so that I could buy it back which was over and above what I expected. They could've easily sold it way before today, but I'm so grateful that they worked with me so that I could keep my item. It was definitely better than shelling out $800+ for a brand new one. It even still had my stuff on it, so I didn't have to re-download anything. I've always had a great experience here and highly recommend!

She helped save my TV today that I had on their way a big TV so I was very very happy for her help today. Anytime I’m in a clutch they save me. And Shandra is the next best employee always smiling and very helpful and she goes above and beyond to help me. I love this location because of the two great employees they have there. Outstanding Service – Ask for Lamont! I had an excellent experience at Cash America Pawn! The store was clean, well-organized, and had a wide selection of quality items at great prices. What really made my visit stand out, though, was the outstanding customer service from Lamont. Lamont was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions, helped me find exactly what I needed, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated and courteous—Lamont is truly a model employee and a great asset to the team. Whether you’re buying, selling, or just browsing, I highly recommend stopping by this location and asking for Lamont. You won’t be disappointed!

I went in this particular store this past Saturday to buy a Bluetooth Speaker I saw there on previous visit. I went to the shel pick item up and went to wait in line to pay for it. Everyone behind the counter all of a sudden became aloof when it was my time to get served God Bless the young man that helped me he had just walked in the other employees all just acted like they didn't want to serve me. They also sold something to me I could have purchased brand new for the same price. I didn't have my phone to check so my bad on that. The manager is very unfriendly. Most of the time the folks have been cool this day though not so much. Then the speaker half works it cuts out if you turn if past a quarter of the volume level, all good I will just buy a new one I appreciate them putting me up on a product I knew nothing about. Cash America Pawn on Moreland Avenue is honestly one of the worst-run businesses I’ve ever been in. The worker Ken is the main reason. He’s extremely rude, dismissive, and acts like customers are beneath him. Every time I’ve gone in, it feels like he’s irritated just by the fact that someone walked through the door. Instead of greeting you or offering help, he gives you attitude and makes the entire experience miserable. What’s worse is that he makes up new rules and requirements every single time you try to get your own property back. One visit it’s one thing, the next visit it’s something completely different—almost like he’s inventing excuses on the spot. It feels shady and unprofessional, and it makes the whole process way more stressful than it should be. Ken carries himself like he hates his job and wants everyone else to suffer along with him. If working with customers bothers him this much, maybe he should find a different career. A pawn shop is supposed to be about customer service and trust, but with him, you get the exact opposite. If you want to be treated with respect, or even just basic decency, save yourself the headache and avoid this location altogether. There are plenty of other places that will treat you like a customer instead of a burden.
