This company are thives I have been paying for a 24,000 dollars loan 17 years now at 400 dollars a month the loan was for 240 months that's 20 years and it should be paid off by now it was for a home improvement loan through southern siding that is now out of business and the siding is destroyed by hurricane Ida and it was a life time guarantee we can't even get in touch with no one from southern siding and we called amerifirst and they said there is nothing they can do but still wants us to pay our bill that is still 22,000 dollars now they sold our contract to another company that we didn't sign a contract with nd still can't get the siding redone. But how is a 24000 dollars loan for 20 years we done paid for the siding triple times already I will have to get an attorney to see if I can sue them for overpayment please don't use this company I think they was in on it with southern siding to get more money out of us

Requested a three day grace extension due to the closing of a mortgage refinance that would include pay off of a loan with this company. I was denied it and was told I would be charged a late payment. With a perfect payment history for three years with this company. I made one more payment and now have a positive credit on the account that is more than the payment was by a few dollars. Been waiting 4weeks now to receive a check back and was just informed on the phone a check wouldn't be sent till March 1st. My last payment was on Jan 27 .

Beware! The company does not allow principal payments on their website. You have to call them each time for a principal payment. I've complained about this many times and received the run around. Also, they do not allow the removal of recurring payments until the loan is paid off - this is a violation of consumer rights. If you see a good review, it is completely fake.

I recently received a phone call from one of their representatives asking me to share personal information over the phone. When I asked for clarification on what the call was about (due to the amount of phone scams occuring), he became rude, pushy, and condescending. He would not answer my questions but kept insisting that I should know what the call was about and that I must obviously not be the person in the house who handles things. It was a very unprofessional and frustrating experience.

This company is a total joke!! I lost my husband to COVID-19 and they didn’t even want to wave a $15 late fee and offered no help whatsoever!! I will not ever do business with them again! Think twice before using them….if you have a choice….don’t use them!!!

All they do is harass people 24/7 with phone calls. They don't try to work with you and they know alot of people are struggling right now.

Had a great experience. Absolutely a 5 star company, very professional.
