While they do require a significant amount of documentation, Phil was consistently responsive, professional, and supportive every step of the way. I truly appreciated his communication and dedication to getting everything completed smoothly.

As with most transactions of this size, there were a few hiccups along the way, but Phillip consistently supported us and helped keep everything moving forward. Where do I start! In a time of such volatility in the financial and business markets…my experience with TruFund has been nothing short of exceptional! Let me start by talking a little about my team-Melissa E. (Senior Loan Analyst) was the person that initially took my application; throughout the process she was on point, communicating with me daily at some points and ALWAYS very clear with what was needed and why. Then there’s Philip T. (Business Development Officer) which was my direct connect here in Atlanta…he was very good at breaking everything down for me as I got through the middle to final stages of the process, Philip was very down to earth and easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable with everything! Regarding OC I. (Senior Lending Officer) just WOW! He challenged me when needed as I attempted to pull everything together but always stayed not only professional but also personable and passionate about my business endeavors!! Honestly I could go on and on about ALL that this team did to aid in getting my loan processed and closed!! They were top tier! I plan on doing much more business with TruFund in the future and was very pleased with how seamless the process was once TruFund connected my loan to the GA Guarantee Program!

Honestly the way they waste your time and give you the run around instead of being straightforward is ridiculous. I wasted a month and submitted everything required just to never hear anything from them or their partners again. It was devaluing and truthfully inconsiderate how they handled everything from beginning to end.

I received a text message saying that they had extended their payment terms and lowered the cost of their loans. Just to try them out I requested terms on a 40,000.00 loan to finish a couple of automotive projects so they could be sold and not dip into my operating capital in the bank. They came back telling me I was approved for 35,000.00 on a 7 month repay term. 36% interest rate. You do the math. Payments to be made Monday thru Fridays for 7 months. Not only that. They are a 501c with 7 different addresses across 7 different states. They do this to avoid rate caps on loans for their investors who are fronting the money. BEWARE ! VERY SHADY PRACTICES !

Run run as fast as you can….. These folks are collecting $250 fees for loans like Thanos is collecting rings!!! The previous customer said the same thing!!!! Except his fee was much higher…… Began the loan process on 2/28/25- took months for them to process the loan. I was on multiple phone calls about my business. I explained everything in detail and it took 9 weeks to deny me and not even a call back when the loan was denied. I was sent an email. After I was given a verbal yes over the phone!!! They are slow and will tell you a great story about how they work hard for you and how they approve loans! All lies!! I called to speak with someone regarding the denial….. you guessed it… I did not receive a call back . Just avoid these folks at all cost! It took from February until May to say no. And the best part is that they will call you multiple times and ask for the same documents that you have sent to them. They confirm that they received them and will still call you back and say they don’t have your documents! They can’t process loans in a timely manner- they will take your money and won’t call back. A nice recipe for a disaster! Save your money, beg and borrow from family and friends before you go this route!

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with TruFund Financial Services. As a small business owner, I was in need of a loan and thought that TruFund could be a good option for me. However, I soon found out that this company is only good if you have a cookie cutter tax return. Despite their claims of offering loans to small business owners, TruFund Financial Services did not take the time to review my tax returns properly. They claimed that my returns were too complex and that they did not understand real estate depreciation, which they referred to as a phantom expense. I found this extremely frustrating, as I had spent a great deal of time preparing my tax returns and ensuring that they were accurate. I felt that TruFund Financial Services was extremely selective in their lending practices and did not truly understand the needs of small business owners. Their lack of knowledge about real estate depreciation, which is a crucial factor in many businesses, was concerning and showed me that they were not equipped to handle more complex loan applications. Overall, I would not recommend TruFund Financial Services to anyone who has anything other than a simple, straightforward tax return. If you are a small business owner with more complex financial needs, I suggest looking elsewhere for financing.
