Had to get released paperwork from this branch. Just want to say thank you to Edith and Erika for their help. I know you guys are busy but it only takes a few minutes to help out another human. As far as the receptionist, just because you don't see the person behind the phone- you can do better.

Dont ever go here, the staff are very rude and very unhelpful. If you go through ANY hardship and ask for help theyll just give you "🤷‍♂️ not our problem" and basically tell you to suck it up and pay them. They talk to you like youre a complete idiot who doesnt understand how loans work. God what a disrespectful company.

If you like wasting your time on the nonsensical, OneMainFinancial is your best bet. I applied for a loan primarily for upcoming travel. I spent at least three hours on their extensive application. My loan was turned down because I lease a car, which approximately 25 percent of Americans do, according to Experian. By the way, OneMainFinancial solicited me.

Just a quick shout out to Edith for awesome service. Although our loan is activated for a five year term at more than we needed, my wife and I just returned $6k in a lump payment (from the $16k approved offer) and I have amortized the balance into a doable monthly payment for 22 months. It's awesome to *finally* have a light at the end of the tunnel. Now if I can just get enough $100 referral bonuses, I can pay off the loan even sooner! LOL.

We were straight up lied to about a refinance. We were told that if they took over our car loan and added it to our loan, our payments would go down by $200 with the same terms because our interest rate would be lower...and we would get $2k cash out. It somewhat made sense because we got screwed on our car loan and a drastically lower interest rate would do wonders. We show up and the guy we talked to (who we were supposed to see) wasn't there. Waited 45 minutes to get someone to talk to. Another 20 minutes later she tells us what our payments would be and what the cash out was.... Then I asked about the length of the loan. The reason we were saving so much was because they added two and a half years onto the loan. The guy we talked to straight up lied when he said the terms would be the same. Predatory lending at its finest. Edit: The response from One Main below was only sent to make them look better. I reached out immediately and they haven't even acknowledged me. I will edit this review as necessary.

Calls repetitively, more than legally allowed before it becomes harassment, 7+ times a week under multiple numbers. Mixed up my credit with my Dad's and "verified" my information in their system and somehow linked my birthday to my Dad's social security number. Claims I gave them the wrong number. Threatened to continue to have his credit report messed up and to garnish my wages because I said I was no longer going to pay and intended on filing bankruptcy. Predatory lender. Steer clear. They prey on desperation.

This is my second time using OneMain Financial in order to clear up debts on my credit. I returned to refinance my existing loan and the customer service was just as good as the first time for my original loan. The process is quick and pain free in my opinion and I would recommend for anyone else who is looking to clear up debts and repair their credit!
